LOZIN - Modular furniture for Tehran traditional area, 2019
"Lozin" is a furniture collection based on modular design with the goal of interacting and meeting the users' maximum needs. Rudaki's area, The City Theater, and The Daneshjoo Park are very crowded areas which require simple, useful, and long lasting furniture in order to prevent extra chaos. Lozin is inspired by The City Theater’s tiles, Lozenge shaped decorations, and identity. Due to the crowded area surrounding The City Theater and the need for multiple kinds of seating areas all with different user characteristics, Lozin has been designed as seating centered furniture.
I didn't have any experience with concrete before. Because of the concept properties, it was so challenging for me. The thickness of the furniture was so thin to made with concrete. After many calculations, redesign and making a prototype, I could design the final concept for manufacture.
