Clavier Bench, the musical urban furniture 2015
Clavier Bench is an interactive urban furniture which is inspired from the piano in form and function. It consist of four seats that each one plays two note of C major scale during sitting and also standing. If all of them move simultaneously, an ear-catching melody will played. Clavier Bench could increase the sense of humor and pleasure in the atmosphere of city and establish an enjoyable interaction between people. Also, the musical intelligence of citizens, specially children, will definitely level up by this musical furniture.

As a young students we had several challenges during this project. Since it was our first experience of prototyping, we decided to build the structure by Iron profile and use PVC sheets to make the body of furniture. The most challenging step of project was electronic part which is eventually done by a group of young electrical engineering students in a good way.
